Guangxi-Style BBQ in Shenzhen: Unique Grilled Beef Skewers & Sweet-and-Sour Noodles

As someone from Guangdong, I always assumed that BBQ across China was pretty much the same, with the main differences being whether it was spicy and what ingredients were used. But my recent visit to this Guangxi-style BBQ restaurant completely changed my mind and opened my eyes to a whole new world of regional flavors.

Wu Zhuang Jiangsu & Zhejiang Cuisine at Yitian Holiday Plaza Pingshan, Shenzhen

To be honest, I rarely come to Pingshan. Most of the time, I only come here when my friends bring me, mainly because it’s quite far from the central areas of Shenzhen. Today was no exception—I came here because my bestie brought me along.

Yudu Laowei Seafood Noodles at Zhuoyue Center: A Review of the New Noodle Shop

Yudu Laowei Seafood Noodles at Zhuoyue Center: A Review of the New Noodle Shop

There’s a new noodle shop on B2 of One Avenue ! When I first noticed the restaurant, I saw “Michelin” featured prominently in its advertising. To be honest, I initially assumed it was just a marketing gimmick. But I later heard that the restaurant has actually received Michelin recognition in Shanghai, which made me curious to see whether it could still live up to that reputation after coming to Guangdong.

See You Earth: Fresh Fruit Tea, Pine Needle Iced Tea & Specialty Drinks in Shenzhen

Cheryl Kong | 2026-10-18

Recently, See You Earth (再见地球) seems to be getting really popular! This drink shop specializes in fresh fruit juice, lemon tea, Americano coffee, and much more. Its menu is also incredibly extensive — this was actually the first time I had seen a menu that filled two entire pages! Today, I’m trying a few of its signature drinks to see what they’re like.

📍 Practical Information

See You Earth 2076

🌲 Environment

The shop is quite spacious, with an open layout that makes the interior feel bright and roomy. Green is the main color throughout the space, and there are plenty of cushioned stools for seating, along with even a few reclining lounge chairs! ❗

There are large display stands in the middle of the shop and along the walls showcasing the signature drinks. What really surprised me was that each drink came with a sensory experience report, complete with top, middle, and base notes, just like a perfume! 🤯 I honestly didn’t expect such a detailed presentation for drinks.

When ordering, you can choose your preferred sugar level, and, unusually, you can also select the tea base. The menu even has English translation!

💕 Drink Reviews

I tried three of the shop’s signature drinks this time, and each offered a delightful sensory experience.

🏆 Autumn Moon Pear & Pine Needle Iced Tea

This was my personal favorite! 💖

I ordered it with 50% sugar, and the sweetness was just right. The first sip brought a clean, refreshing sweet-and-tart flavor from the Qiuyue pear. In the middle, a distinctive pine needle aroma emerged, followed by a slightly bitter finish. There were also a few bits of fruit pulp in the drink.

Overall, it was wonderfully refreshing, with a unique combination of fruity sweetness and pine fragrance. 👍

👍 Western Yunnan Sour Papaya Iced Tea

I had heard that this drink could be quite sour, so I ordered it with full sugar. As it turned out, it was way too sweet for my taste!

Even so, it was still a very refreshing drink with a pleasant sweet-and-sour flavor. I personally enjoy sour papaya and sour mango, so this one was still a good choice for me.

👍 Valley Red Pomegranate Iced Tea

I chose the sugar-free option because I had work to do and didn’t want to consume too much sugar. I wanted to enjoy the pomegranate in its original form instead.

The drink had a natural, authentic pomegranate flavor, making it a suitable option for people who are watching their sugar intake.

📚 Overall Experience

Overall, the drinks were pretty good! If you're visiting Shenzhen, Goodbye Earth is worth a try, especially if you'd like to experience Chinese fruit tea. It's a great way to enjoy the flavors of Chinese tea while sampling some of China's distinctive local fruits in a refreshing drink. It's also a nice spot to relax and catch up with friends over an afternoon tea break. 💖
