Compared with some of the other cafés I’ve tried in Shenzhen, Ghost Coffee is relatively small and easy to overlook. It’s not really a café I’d recommend going out of your way to visit, but if you live or work nearby, it can be a lovely little escape from the busy city.
It’s also a great place to work alone, read, or simply spend a quiet afternoon with your laptop.

🗺️ The café is located inside Shenzhen Eye Mall. It’s not immediately visible from the metro station, so I’d recommend following your GPS when you’re walking there.
🌲 The interior is particularly suitable for spending a few hours with your laptop or a magazine. It has a warm, vintage-style atmosphere, with comfortable corner seats and chairs. There are also several foldable seats outside.
☕️The iced Americano
We ordered an extra-large Americano — 1 liter! It was seriously huge. 😂 The coffee had a strong and bold flavor, which I really enjoyed.
🍋The Iced Lemon Jasmine Tea
The iced lemon jasmine tea was served in a glass cup. It was refreshing, with a nice sweet-and-sour flavor.
🍰 The Yuzu-Flavored Basque Cheesecake

The cheesecake looked quite ordinary at first glance, but the aroma was surprisingly distinctive. The outer layer was firm, while the inside was soft and creamy. I really liked the texture, and the yuzu flavor gave it a refreshing twist.
💁♀️ Toward the end of our visit, the staff even brought us lemon water to cleanse our palates. It was such a small but thoughtful touch, and it made the service feel warm and attentive.
📚 Overall Experience
Ghost Coffee has a quiet atmosphere, making it a nice place to escape the crowds and spend some time on your own. However, it is a little out of the way from the metro station, so I’d mainly recommend it if you live or work in the area rather than making a special trip just for the café.
The good news is that One Avenue is nearby, so you can easily combine a visit to Ghost Coffee with some shopping or a casual afternoon around the area.
If you’re looking for a quiet café in Futian where you can work, read, or simply enjoy some time alone, Ghost Coffee is definitely worth considering.
