I have to admit, this bookstore and café has become one of my recent favorites — not just because of the view, but also because of the atmosphere.
I’ve seen so many people checking in here, and it’s actually super easy to find. It’s located right beside the lake inside Litchi Park (荔枝公园).

The window seats come with charging outlets, so you don’t have to worry about running out of battery while studying or working.
(However, the individual seats do not have charging outlets.)
🌊 Beautiful Lakeside View
The windows are right next to the lake in Litchi Park, giving you an unobstructed view of nature and Shenzhen’s skyscrapers while you read or study.
Honestly, it’s hard not to enjoy studying with a view like this.
🍰 Food & Drinks Available
There’s an in-house café where you can order drinks and food. The food is a little expensive, but the snacks and drinks are reasonably priced. The food and drinks also taste pretty good, though!
You can also sit down and read books taken directly from the shelves without any purchase, which makes it a lovely place to spend a few relaxing hours. They also have books available for sale if you prefer to bring one home.
⛲️ Inside A Park
One of the things I really like about this bookstore is that it’s located inside the park and conveniently close to the restrooms.Thankfully, the restrooms are very clean as well.
If you ever feel tired after studying or working for a few hours, you can simply step outside, take a walk, enjoy some fresh air, and come back feeling refreshed.
🏡 Environment
The indoor space is bright, spacious, and very comfortable. Besides the indoor seating, there are plenty of outdoor tables as well — though be aware there are quite a few mosquitoes 🦟 outside.
Meanwhile, the bookstore only turns on the air‑conditioning in the afternoon, so it can get a bit warm earlier in the day. I’m not sure if it’s the same during summer because we visited in winter.
📚Overall Experience
I really enjoyed this place and for a period of time, I even came here everyday. It’s perfect for a relaxing visit if you happen to be walking around Litchi Park, and it’s also a great option for anyone looking for a quiet place to study or work.
For me, the combination of books, greenery, lake views, and a peaceful atmosphere makes this a lovely little spot to experience Shenzhen’s literary side. It's a great little escape in the middle of Shenzhen. ❤️
