Mi Bookstore in Shenzhen Luohu: Stunning Two‑Floor Photogenic Bookstore at Yitian Holiday Plaza

This Mi Bookstore is one of those places I kept seeing online because of its incredibly photogenic interior. I had seen plenty of people sharing photos of the space and this store became quite a hype for a period of time. To be honest, Shenzhen is a city with no shortage of beautiful bookstores, so simply having an impressive interior isn't necessarily enough to make a bookstore worth visiting. so I eventually decided to visit it myself and find out whether it was actually worth the hype.

Leica Café in Shenzhen: Minimalist Photography‑Inspired Coffee Space With Signature Pineapple Coconut Latte

Cheryl Kong | 2026-08-27

We’ve all heard of Leica cameras, but I had never imagined that Leica would open a café in Shenzhen! ☕️ The iconic reputation of Leica lenses, combined with my own love for cafés, naturally made me curious enough to come and check out Café Leitz for myself. I wanted to see what a Leica-branded café would actually be like.

📍 Practical Information

  • Name of the Shop: Café Leitz (徕卡咖啡)

  • Location: Shop 101S163, Building C, MixC Phase II, 1881 Bao’an South Road, Luohu District, Shenzhen

  • Nearest Metro Station:

    • Ludancun Station (Line 9), Exit C — about 290 meters on foot

    • Grand Theater Station (Line 1), Exit F — about 500 meters on foot

  • Price: ¥40 per person

  • Opening Hours:10:00–22:00

📷 A Café with a Leica Identity

The first thing that struck me was the space itself. The café has a clean, minimalist design, with both indoor seating and an outdoor bar area that adds a little more character.

The spacious layout offers upscale feel rather than the cramped atmosphere you sometimes find in smaller cafés. Inside, Leica books are displayed around the café, while an entire wall is covered with photographs. It almost feels like a mini photography exhibition.

☕ Signature Drink

I ordered their Pineapple Coconut Latte, and I have to say, the presentation definitely caught my attention.

🍍 It's beautifully presented, with sweet dried fruit on top, and the pineapple-coconut aroma is immediately noticeable.

The coffee itself has a slightly acidic profile, but the overall flavor is rich and smooth. The combination is quite interesting, especially if you enjoy fruity coffee drinks.

At around ¥30–40, I'd consider it reasonably priced for this type of branded café.

💻 Work‑Friendly Space

Another thing I really liked is the workspace area for laptops on the second floor. 💻

I noticed quite a few people sitting here with their computers, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to imagine spending an entire afternoon working or reading here. 🌞

⚠️One important thing to keep in mind: there are no power outlets available in most areas, except around the projector area. So if you plan to work here for several hours, make sure your laptop is sufficiently charged beforehand.

The projector area also made me wonder whether the space is occasionally used for talks, photography events, or small salon-style gatherings.

📌 Overall Review

This Leica Cafè feels more like a small lifestyle space than a regular café. This palce is full of Leica elements, with photography displays that make the whole place feel calm and artistic. It’s also comfortable to just sit down with a laptop and spend a quiet afternoon there. If you're a Leica fan or interested in photography, you'll probably appreciate all the little details throughout the space. 📷

Even if you're not particularly familiar with Leica, it's still a pleasant place to visit if you're looking for somewhere clean, artistic, and comfortable to spend a quiet afternoon.
