Looking for something comforting for your first meal back at work in Shenzhen after the holiday? How about a Japanese-style meal with crispy pork cutlet, creamy mentaiko mayo, and unlimited DIY ice cream?
This restaurant really caught my attention today, and I honestly have to recommend it if you happen to be around this area.

🥳 The shop itself isn’t very big, but it’s clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they were always happy to help.
🍽️ Food Experience
But the most impressive part is their food. I tried their single‑person set meal, which includes:
🏆 Mentaiko Pork Cutlet Rice
The portion was surprisingly generous, with a good amount of mentaiko mayo spread over the golden, crispy fried pork cutlet.
There were also crispy seaweed strips underneath the pork cutlet, which added another layer of texture. The combination of the crunchy cutlet, creamy mentaiko mayo, and seaweed made every bite rich and flavorful 👍 The rice was soft and well-cooked, and the whole dish was quite filling. In fact, I was really full by the end of the meal!
🏆 Miso Soup
The miso soup contained red and white radish, along with several pieces of meat. Compared with the main dish, the soup was much lighter and more refreshing. It was a nice balance to the rich pork cutlet and mentaiko mayo.
✅ Appetizer
There were several appetizers to choose from, and I went with white radish and kelp. They had a nice savory flavor and definitely helped whet my appetite before the main dish.
The only thing I wasn't particularly impressed with was the seaweed. There wasn't as much as I expected, and it was a little too dry and crunchy.
