This is also UNIQLO’s first store in South China, and it has finally received a major renovation at Dongmen Sun Plaza. The store officially reopened on May 15th, 2026, bringing a noticeably refreshed shopping environment to this long-established location.

👕 What’s New Inside?
One of the features I found particularly interesting is the personalized T-shirt customization station. Instead of simply choosing a ready-made design, shoppers can select graphics and create a more personalized T-shirt.
Honestly, I really want to give it a try myself! I’m thinking about customizing a T-shirt with a design featuring one of my favourite musicians Prince, and I’ll definitely share the result with you once I’ve tried it.
The store also has more self-checkout machines, which makes the checkout process faster and more convenient, especially when you’re only buying a few things.
Compared with the previous store, the new layout feels noticeably more spacious. The higher ceilings and clearer product displays make it easier to browse the different sections without feeling too crowded.
👔 More Than Just T-Shirts
Of course, there’s much more to browse than customized T-shirts. The store carries a wide range of clothing, shoes, and other everyday essentials, with plenty of styles to choose from.
And here’s a little personal story: my husband actually bought the suit he wore for our wedding photos at this UNIQLO store! 😂
The jacket and trousers together cost us just a little over RMB 700, which I thought was an incredible deal for a suit. So even before this renovation, we already had a pretty good reason to come here.
