Bagua Lemon Tea Shenzhen: Live Music and Black Widow Lemon Tea

To be honest, Bagua Lemon Tea (八卦柠) was a hidden gem I only discovered after living in this area for a year or two. I’d heard that it was one of the signature spots to visit in Bagualing after dark 🌃, and my sister had recommended it to me several times. Today, I finally made it here!

Miniso Land Finally Opens in Shenzhen Dongmen: Three‑Floor Themed Shopping Wonderland in Luohu

Miniso is probably a brand that needs little introduction. After all, the brand has worked with high-profile names such as Paris Hilton, Rihanna, and even Maye Musk for its advertising campaigns. But I don't think celebrity endorsements are what truly made Miniso so popular. What really set the brand apart is its combination of cute and eye-catching products, an enormous variety of items, affordable prices, and countless popular IP collaborations.

Flora Beast at OneAvenue Shenzhen: Plants, Flowers & Exotic Pets

Cheryl Kong | 2026-10-05

Today, while I was waiting for my bestie before going shopping, I happened to come across a really unique store at OneAvenue. The overall design immediately caught my attention, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Flora Beast combines ornamental plants, fresh flowers, and exotic pets all in one place. The store itself is also beautifully designed. 💁

Naturally, I decided to go inside and take a look.

📍 Practical Information

Name of the Shop: Flora Beast(花兽纪)

Location: B2 Floor, OneAvenue East District, right next to Gangxia Metro Station Exit B2

Nearest Metro Station: Gangxia Station, Line 1 — about a 100-meter walk from the station exit

Opening Hours: 09:30–22:00

Flora Beast

🌱 Environment

Flora Beast occupies the entire corridor connecting the metro station to the East District and is divided into three themed sections: Flora Beast · Zhi (Plants), Flora Beast · Shou (Exotic Pets), and Flora Beast · Hua (Flowers).

The overall design uses a soft mint green as its main color, making the space feel bright, spacious, and comfortable. The store also has some creative displays. One side of the corridor is used for the shops, while the other side features various products, including paintings, calligraphy, and perfumes.

The displays are arranged quite elegantly, so you can browse the products while also finding plenty of nice spots for photos.

🎵 Store Experience

🌿 Flora Beast · Zhi — Plants

This section focuses mainly on potted plants 🪴, with most of them being indoor foliage plants. There were various types, including Stanley, Golden Silk Leaf Cicada, and Monkey Ear plants, with some plants priced at just RMB 9.9.

Overall, the plants have a somewhat IKEA-like style, with large leaves and attractive patterns.

Besides the plants themselves, there are also some plant-themed accessories, including both flat and three-dimensional refrigerator magnets. There were also colorful hand towels, which I personally really wanted to buy.

🦎 Flora Beast · Shou — Exotic Pets

This section has a variety of exotic pets, including snakes, lizards, geckos, and spiders.

There is also a pet-handling experience available for RMB 49.9 per session or RMB 108 for three sessions. You can interact with snakes, lizards, and spiders, with staff providing safety guidance during the experience.

💐 Flora Beast · Hua — Flowers

This section is dedicated to fresh flowers, and you can either choose individual flowers yourself or pick from bouquets that have already been arranged. 💐 The flowers looked very fresh, and there was a good variety to choose from. Considering the location, I also felt that the prices were quite reasonable. Most flowers are sold at the current market price, but there are also some particularly affordable options, such as RMB 39 for three bouquets and RMB 19 per bouquet. Some discounted flowers were even available for just RMB 5 per bouquet. ❗️

It’s also a convenient place to pick up flowers if you suddenly realize you've forgotten to buy some before meeting your partner. 💖 Across from the flower section, there are also some related products, including insect specimens such as butterflies 🦋 and beetles 🪲. The whole area is also quite photogenic. 📸

📚 Overall Experience

Overall, if you're already visiting OneAvenue, I think Flora Beast is worth stopping by for a look. It’s quite different from a typical plant or flower shop, with plants, flowers, exotic pets, and various decorative products all in one place. There are quite a few interesting and unusual things here, and I think you might even find something you’d like to take home.
