To be honest, Bagua Lemon Tea (八卦柠) was a hidden gem I only discovered after living in this area for a year or two. I’d heard that it was one of the signature spots to visit in Bagualing after dark 🌃, and my sister had recommended it to me several times. Today, I finally made it here!
I’ve also heard that the shop has since expanded and now serves alcoholic drinks 🍷 in the evening, making it an even more versatile spot that caters to different tastes and preferences.

What Makes Bagua Lemon Tea Special?
The main attraction is the experience of sitting together by the roadside, enjoying drinks while listening to live music. 🎶 You can even get up and sing yourself, with a music teacher accompanying you on guitar 🎸 and sometimes even providing backing vocals 🎤. You’ll hear plenty of talented guys and girls singing live, and when the music gets more energetic, African drums 🪘 may join in too! The handsome music teacher accompanying the singers is also super nice. If you struggle to reach a high note, he’ll even help you out a little.
Coming here after work to relax and enjoy the music is such a laid-back experience. It’s all about unwinding, taking it easy, and simply enjoying yourself! You can also experience the relaxed social culture of Bagualing Industrial Zone. Although the area is an industrial zone, it’s known for its concentration of distinctive cafés. It’s also a great place to socialize: people who don’t know each other often sit together, and before you know it, conversations can start flowing naturally.

🌲Environment
The shop itself is relatively small, with two floors and quite distinctive décor. Overall, I think it’s a nice place to meet up with friends 🍻 or go on a date 👩❤️💋👨. We mainly chose to sit outside, where chairs are available along the street. However, if you visit in summer, be prepared for the heat and mosquitoes.

🥤Drinks: Black Widow Hand-Shaken Lemon Tea
The drinks here are also quite unique! The signature drink we tried was called Black Widow Hand-Shaken Lemon Tea, and to my surprise, it actually contains squid ink 🦑! I was genuinely shocked , but it turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! The portion was also enormous—one person could hardly finish the whole cup alone.

📚Overall Experience
Overall, I think Bagua Lemon Tea is a great choice if you want to experience the local street culture of Bagualing. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind in Bagualing at night, don’t miss this place! 🌃
