To be honest, Bagua Lemon Tea (八卦柠) was a hidden gem I only discovered after living in this area for a year or two. I’d heard that it was one of the signature spots to visit in Bagualing after dark 🌃, and my sister had recommended it to me several times. Today, I finally made it here!

Shenzhen has no shortage of cute lifestyle and gift shops, and to be honest, many of them carry fairly similar types of products. What really sets them apart is the theme and aesthetic each store chooses to focus on.

Miniso Land Finally Opens in Shenzhen Dongmen: Three‑Floor Themed Shopping Wonderland in Luohu

Miniso is probably a brand that needs little introduction. After all, the brand has worked with high-profile names such as Paris Hilton, Rihanna, and even Maye Musk for its advertising campaigns. But I don't think celebrity endorsements are what truly made Miniso so popular. What really set the brand apart is its combination of cute and eye-catching products, an enormous variety of items, affordable prices, and countless popular IP collaborations.

Harmay Shenzhen: Beauty Sample Shop with Affordable Mini Perfumes & Skincare at One Avenue

Cheryl Kong | 2026-09-06

Think luxury beauty products are too expensive to buy in full size? Then mini sizes might be exactly what you’re looking for.

HARMAY (话梅) is a popular beauty retailer in Shenzhen, offering a wide selection of skincare, cosmetics, perfumes, and travel-size beauty products. I happened to visit the store in Futian, and I was surprised by just how many travel-friendly products were available.

📍 Practical Information

  • Name of the Shop: Harmay (话梅)

  • Location: N119, Level 1, North Zone, One Avenue (Zhuoyue Center), Futian District, Shenzhen

  • Nearest Metro Station: Gangxia North Station, Exit 6B — about 200 meters on foot

  • Opening Hours: 10:00–22:00

  • What to Buy:Mini perfumes, skincare, cosmetics, haircare, travel-size products

  • Price Range:Around RMB 39.9–200+

  • Best For:Beauty lovers, travellers, people who want to try products before buying full size

🌲Environment

The shop has a distinctive industrial-style design, with steel pipes everywhere. Even the display shelves are made from pipes, creating a modern and slightly edgy atmosphere.

What Can You Acutally Buy at HARMAY?

💕 One of the things that makes HARMAY interesting is its wide selection of smaller beauty products. You can find mini and travel-size versions of shampoos, lotions, creams, perfumes, masks, and other skincare products from well-known brands across Europe, the U.S., Japan, and Korea.

For me, the biggest advantage is the chance to try something without committing to a full-size product. If you’re curious about a particular skincare or beauty product but aren’t sure whether it will suit you, a smaller size makes experimenting much less risky.

💖 Honestly, with just a few dozen RMB or a little over RMB 100, you can try luxury stuff. Everything is relatively affordable compared with buying full-size luxury products, and you don’t have to worry about spending a lot on something you might not end up using.

During my visit, I also noticed quite a few international visitors browsing the store. That made me realise how useful HARMAY can be for travellers, especially if you want to pick up smaller beauty products that are easy to pack in your luggage.

🛍️ The perfume section was particularly tempting. They carry mini perfumes from brands such as Gucci and YSL, and I spotted several fragrances from Gucci’s flora collection in smaller sizes.

If you love perfumes, this is definitely a section worth checking out. You can explore different scents and brands without immediately committing to a full-size bottle.

Prices generally range from RMB 39.9 to around RMB 200, so there are plenty of options depending on your budget. Everything looked so tempting that even I couldn’t resist buying a few things myself. 😂

Of course, if you already know and love a particular product, buying the full-size version may still offer better value. But if you’re trying something for the first time, HARMAY’s smaller sizes give you a much easier way to experiment.
