I have to say, sponge cake is one of my fondest childhood memories, so I naturally gravitate toward anything that tastes like it. This cake shop is one I pass by often, and its sponge cake has caught my attention many times. Today, I finally stopped in to give it a try.

I happened to get it fresh out of the oven — the presentation was beautiful.The outside is fluffy and bouncy, while the inside is soft and delicate. The matcha flavor is refreshing, and the red beans add a lovely sweetness. A very delicious combination.

🍨 Lychee Yogurt Skin Dessert

This was my first time trying yogurt skin, and the texture surprised me — smooth and silky. It’s sweet and tangy, very refreshing, and pairs perfectly with the cake.

📚Overall reviews

This bakery is worth a visit if you're passing by or living nearby. It's a good option for breakfast or afternoon tea. However, there is no seating available, so all items are takeaway only.

Some of their signature offerings include sponge cakes, cheese toast, black egg tarts, snowy mochi, and yogurt skin desserts. Everything looked tempting, and there are still plenty of items I'd love to try on my next visit.
