Can you believe there’s a super popular bakery at MixC Plaza in Luohu? One that always seems to have people lining up and taking photos?
Every time I walked past, I wondered why so many people were queuing and snapping pictures. To be honest, I even found it a little funny. 😅
So today, when the crowd wasn’t too crazy, I finally decided to give it a try. I grabbed a dessert and sat down right in front of the shop to see what all the hype was about.

🌸 Environment
To be fair, the environment is beautiful. The bakery has a European-style architectural design, with a charming outdoor seating area that is perfect for taking photos and checking in.
I especially recommend visiting in the evening. Once the lights come on, the whole place takes on a romantic and dreamy atmosphere.
The interior is equally eye-catching, with a high ceiling and elegant chandeliers that give the space a luxurious feel. The shelves are filled with beautifully presented breads and pastries. 🍰
However, there is one downside: the indoor space is quite narrow. You can basically walk through the entire shop in one loop, and when it's crowded, it can feel a little cramped.
You also need to make your choices fairly quickly. If there are people waiting behind you, you may feel a little guilty standing there for too long while deciding what to buy.
🛎 Service
Unfortunately, the service was probably the weakest part of my experience.
Just as some other customers have mentioned, I didn't find the checkout experience particularly friendly. When it was time to pay, the staff member simply pointed upward with a finger and gestured for customers to come over to the counter. Maybe it was just a busy moment, but the gesture felt a little abrupt and impersonal to me.
🥖 Food
I ordered the strawberry raspberry tart 🍓, and it tasted pretty good.
The cream was smooth and silky, and it paired nicely with the crisp tart crust and berries.
However, the creaminess can become a little heavy after a few bites. I would recommend having it with a drink, or even better, sharing it with someone instead of eating the whole thing by yourself.
📚Overall Experience
The biggest attraction is definitely the atmosphere rather than the food itself. The European-style architecture, beautiful lighting, and outdoor seating make it a very photogenic spot, especially in the evening.
The dessert I tried was good, but it didn't leave me thinking, "Wow, I finally understand why everyone is lining up." 😅
If you're mainly looking for a beautiful place to take photos, enjoy a dessert, and experience one of the more popular bakeries around MixC, I think it's worth checking out.
