To be honest, I didn’t expect that Shenzhen also has a metro line where you can see the sea . You just can't miss it!

Yangang Night Market in Shenzhen Yantian: Stunning Port‑View Street Food Spot

Cheryl Kong | 2026-05-20

If you come to Shenzhen, this night market is definately one of the places you can put in your go-to list. Right along the roadside, you can overlook the sparkling lights of Yantian Port. The whole scene feels straight out of a movie 🎬!

🍖 Plus, there’s food, drinks, and fun everywhere. This is a perfect spot to unwind on weekends.

📍 Location: Qingyun Road, Kongcuitai, Yantian District, Shenzhen

🕒 Hours: Monday–Sunday, 15:00 – 05:00

🚗 Transportation Guide

There’s no direct bus or metro access, so driving is recommended.

  1. Drive directly up to the night market. There’s a road leading straight to the top, and roadside parking is usually available.

  2. Or park nearby and take a motorcycle taxi 🏍️(but it is a little bit dangerous, they don't offer helmet to you)The first time we went, we didn’t know cars could actually drive up, so we parked in a nearby parking lot. Going up cost 35 RMB, coming down was 20 RMB.

🍢 Food Guide

Once you’re up there, feel free to eat and drink to your heart’s content. Most good seating spots are reserved by vendors, so you’ll need to order from them. You’ll find all the classic night‑market favorites:

  • barbecue

  • milk tea

  • oden 🍢

  • instant noodles 🍜and plenty of late‑night snacks.

But they are expensive compared to normal restaurant, I guess it is because the night market is set on a hill.

🎡 Things to Do

  • You won’t get lost. Just walk up the path until you see the milk tea shop “Grandpa’s Tea”, which is basically the end of the path.

  • The night market sits under an elevated road, and there are more food stalls as you walk upward. There're also stalls at which you can play games like ring-toss, balloon shooting etc.

You can find a spot to sit, chat, and enjoy the breeze. It’s relaxing and romantic. The atmosphere is wonderful 👍Just remember to bring mosquito repellent in summer 🦟❗️

📚 Overall Review

Highly recommended if you have time to explore. We stayed for over an hour and really enjoyed it. Many people park their car here just to watch the sun rise.

You can even spot little snail trails 🐌 along the way.

⚠️attention: the toilet is kind of dirty and it only exists at the entrance. Nice place to stop by but not recommending staying for too long.
