Summer is the perfect season for durian, and this shop takes its durian seriously. They import fresh durians directly from Malaysia, and when I made a reservation, they even told me that I would need to wait for the next fresh batch to arrive. That gave me a pretty good impression of how seriously they take the quality of their durian.
🍦 Durian Ice Cream
The durian ice cream is creamy and refreshing, with a very rich durian flavor. It’s especially nice for cooling down on a hot summer day, and the portion is quite generous.
I also liked that the ice cream was completely filled and solid inside, rather than having a hollow center. 😆
🏆 Musang King Durian
The Musang King durian was served chilled straight from the refrigerator. It was sweet with durain auroma. Once you take a bite, the flesh is soft and almost melts in your mouth.
The portion looked quite small at first, but don’t let that fool you — after finishing it, I actually felt full. 😆
Thoughtful Service
The staff even served us a slightly bitter tea to help balance out the sweetness of the durian. The table also came with gloves and tissues. For a fruit that can be quite messy to eat, having gloves and tissues ready definitely makes the experience more convenient. 👍

I really enjoyed the experience. You can tell that the shop puts a lot of thought into the details, from waiting for fresh batches of durian to the little touches like serving tea, gloves, and tissues.
At RMB 90 per person, it isn’t the cheapest way to enjoy durian, but if you’re a real durian lover and want to try fresh Malaysian durian along with a few durian desserts, I think it’s worth a visit. And if you find the price a little high, you can always just try the durian ice cream — it’s a more affordable way to get your durian fix. 🍦
