There’s a new noodle shop on B2 of One Avenue! When I first noticed the restaurant, I saw “Michelin” featured prominently in its advertising. To be honest, I initially assumed it was just a marketing gimmick. But I later heard that the restaurant has actually received Michelin recognition in Shanghai, which made me curious to see whether it could still live up to that reputation after coming to Guangdong.
Since it was a new opening, there weren’t many customers when we visited. I was also in the mood for something light that day, so we decided to give Yudu Laowei Seafood Noodles (渔都老味海鲜面) a try.

📍 Practical Information
Name of the Restaurant: Yudu Laowei Seafood Noodles (渔都老味海鲜面)
Location: B2 Floor, One Avenue (卓悦中心) West Zone, Futian District, Shenzhen
Nearest Metro Station: Gangxia Station, Line 1
Price: ¥40 per person
Opening Hours: 10:00–22:00

🌴 Atmosphere
The restaurant’s interior is quite nice. It is clean and tidy overall, with a slightly traditional Chinese-style design. There is also a condiment station inside the restaurant, where you can find side dishes and other condiments.

🧁 Food
We tried the 79 RMB set meal for two, which included rice, noodles, soup, and several snacks. The portions were quite generous, so the overall value for money was pretty good. 👍
🏆 Seaweed Squid & Shrimp Balls
This was the most impressive dish of the meal. The balls had a light seaweed aroma and a firm, bouncy texture. With the savory dipping sauce, they were really delicious.

🏆 Pickled Cucumber
This was also very tasty. The cucumber was well-seasoned and remained wonderfully crisp, with a sweet, sour, and slightly spicy flavor that made it very appetizing.

✅ Abalone Braised Pork Rice
The flavor was okay, and there really was a medium-sized piece of abalone in it. The braised pork was seasoned just right and went very well with the rice.

✅ Yellow Croaker Scallion Oil Noodles
To be honest, this one was just average. The fish was very tender, but I felt that it didn’t really go well with the noodles. It seemed more like a separate side dish simply placed on top. The noodles themselves were also only moderately seasoned.
The noodles had also clumped together quite a bit, although that may have been because we left them sitting for too long before eating. Perhaps I should try their soup noodles next time to see if I have a better experience.

✅ Stir-Fried Eel Strips
This was the first side dish to arrive. It was okay, but there wasn’t anything particularly special about the seasoning. The flavor was relatively natural and simple.

✅ Fish Soup
The soup was a little on the salty side, but it had a strong and rich fish flavor.(forgot to take picture of this)
📚 Overall Experience
Overall, I would say the food was just average and not as good as I had expected. Although the restaurant carries a Michelin name, I have to say that in Guangdong, where there is no shortage of great food, I didn’t find anything here that particularly stood out.
However, the 79 RMB set meal for two was quite filling and offered good value for money, but the flavors themselves could still be improved. I hope the restaurant can take another look at the seasoning and overall taste and see how they can make the dishes more distinctive.
