I have to say, this unassuming chicken clay pot restaurant turned out to be surprisingly impressive! ❗️
At first glance, it looked like an ordinary chicken pot restaurant. But once I stepped inside, I noticed several diners from Hong Kong already seated there, and they seemed to be regulars who had visited more than once. That immediately made me curious about the food.

👍 And indeed, this is easily one of the best chicken clay pot restaurants I’ve tried so far.
🍲 Food Experience
🏆 Signature Half‑Chicken Clay Pot
The chicken had a very rich, natural chicken flavor. 👍 The texture was firm yet tender, and it tasted like high-quality Qingyuan chicken to me. Even the plain white meat was delicious.
The color, aroma, and taste were all spot-on. The chicken had a beautiful glossy appearance, making it look incredibly appetizing. The seasoning was just savory and well-balanced.
Although it was only half a chicken, the portion was surprisingly generous. Two people almost couldn’t finish it.
Toward the end, you can add water to cook luncheon meat and vegetables 🥬. I highly recommend the romaine lettuce—once it absorbs the chicken juices, it becomes incredibly sweet and aromatic.
🏆 Rice Covered with Chicken Fat
This was my first time trying this kind of rice, and it was surprisingly rich and flavorful. There were tiny pieces of mushroom 🍄 mixed in, and the rice itself was soft and fragrant.
However, because the rice is cooked entirely with chicken fat, it did start to feel a little heavy toward the end.
🏠 Environment & Service
The staff were very warm and friendly. One of the young female staff members was particularly polite and attentive. She even explained the reason for a slight delay in serving our dishes, which I appreciated.
However, there was one thing that I personally found quite unpleasant. When one of the owner leaned over to serve us, her clothes came into direct contact with the luncheon meat on our table. Since this is something I’m quite particular about, we only ate the remaining slices afterward.
The air conditioning was quite strong, so you definitely won’t end up sweating halfway through your meal. 🥵 The seating was comfortable, and the décor was vibrant and eye-catching, making the overall dining experience pleasant.
📚 Overall Experience
I genuinely recommend this place. 🏆 The chicken was exceptionally delicious—not overly salty or dry like some chicken pot dishes can be. You can really appreciate the firm texture of the meat, especially when biting into the pieces near the bone.
There was one unfortunate incident in which the owner's clothes came into contact with the luncheon meat while she was serving us. Although I was personally quite bothered by it, I also understand that it was an accident, and I don’t think it takes away from the overall quality of the food.
Despite that, I would still sincerely recommend this restaurant. 💖 It’s a great option for a meal with friends or family, especially if you enjoy chicken dishes and want something hearty and flavorful.
Their sauna chicken also looked really tempting. If I get the chance, I’d definitely like to try it next time.
