😇 Friends, I’ve already visited Qianyu Benpu Dessert Shop(千芋本铺) four times, and each visit has brought a different experience with delightful flavors.I even wrote a review of their desserts before, and once again, they didn’t disappoint.
This time, I was lucky enough to visit a branch very close to my home, which made the trip especially convenient. After trying their desserts several times, I’ve found that Qianyu Benpu is a brand I can usually count on when I’m in the mood for something sweet.

🍨 Today’s Experience — Triple Mix Longan Shaved Ice
For this dessert, you can choose between a durian base and a taro paste base. Since I’m a fan of durian, I went with the durian option.
Honestly, it was delicious. 👍
🧊 The shaved ice itself is lightly sweet, with a noticeable milk and durian fragrance. The texture is refreshing and slightly grainy, making it especially satisfying on a hot day.
There’s also a layer of jackfruit on top. It’s crisp and tasty, but the flavor isn’t overly strong. It seems that the jackfruit has been specially treated, possibly dried, which greatly reduces its usual strong aroma.This was actually a pleasant surprise for my husband, because he normally doesn’t like jackfruit. Even he thought this version tasted pretty good.
The longans were another highlight. They were juicy and naturally sweet, with a refreshing texture that worked really well with the shaved ice.
📚 Overall experience
After visiting Qianyu Benpu four times, I still find myself enjoying the desserts here. This particular shaved ice was refreshing, fruity, and rich without being overwhelmingly sweet, and I especially liked the combination of durian and longan.
The King Glory Plaza branch is slightly smaller than some of the other branches I’ve visited, but it’s still a comfortable option if you’re already shopping or walking around the mall.
If you’re looking for somewhere to have dessert with friends on the weekend, or simply want a place to sit down and have something sweet on a rainy day, this is a nice option to consider.
