Qianyu Benpu New Summer Dessert Review: Longan Shaved Ice with Durian Base and jackfruit

😇 Friends, I’ve already visited Qianyu Benpu Dessert Shop(千芋本铺) four times, and each visit has brought a different experience with delightful flavors.I even wrote a review of their desserts before, and once again, they didn’t disappoint.

This time, I was lucky enough to go to a branch located very close to my home, which made the visit even more convenient and enjoyable.

🍨 Today’s Experience — Triple Mix Longan Shaved Ice

You can choose between a durian base or taro paste base. I went with the durian option.

Honestly, it was delicious. 👍

🧊 The shaved ice is lightly sweet, infused with milk and durian fragrance, with a refreshing, grainy texture that cools you instantly.On top, there’s a layer of jackfruit—crisp and tasty without being overpowering.They even gave the jackfruit special treatment, likely by drying it, which reduced its strong odor to the minimum. Even my husband, who usually dislikes jackfruit, said this one tasted great.

The longans are juicy and naturally sweet, each bursting with flavor.At the bottom, the durian is wonderfully aromatic and rich, adding a satisfying sweetness. 💖

📚 Overall experience

This shaved ice is highly recommended—it’s truly delightful.Compared to other branches, the King Glory branch is slightly smaller, but it’s still a great place for desserts.Perfect for weekend gatherings with friends or as a cozy spot to rest on rainy days. ☔️
