Cha Of Yulian Review: Black Sesame Ice Cream at King Glory Plaza Luohu

I finally got to try the ice cream at Cha Of Yulian today!This shop has been open for several months inside King Glory Plaza, always bustling with long queues, so I never had the chance until now.

At first, I thought it was a place for Cantonese dim sum, but surprisingly, it’s actually a dessert shop. Their main offerings are drinks, ice cream, and sweet treats.

🍦 Signature Dessert — Black Sesame Ice Cream

I ordered their signature Black Sesame Ice Cream (the cheese buckwheat flavor was sold out, which I had wanted to try).

💁 The portion is generous—14 RMB gets you a full bowl, the shop assistant even pressed it down firmly.

However, the texture isn’t as creamy as expected; it’s slightly icy, resembling a slush.The flavor is mild, not overly sweet, but also not particularly impressive. Halfway through, it began melting quickly, which made the experience less enjoyable.

📚 Overall Impression

This ice cream is fine to try if you’re passing by, but it’s not worth making a special trip.
