I never expected that I would one day come here to try something other than Chinese, Western, or Italian food. This time, I unexpectedly got the chance to try Syrian (Arab) cuisine, and I found the experience really fascinating and quite novel for me.
The restaurant is located directly facing the Minghua ship, and the outdoor seating offers a beautiful night view.

At the entrance, a mist-filled fountain ⛲ creates a dreamy atmosphere, paired with intricately patterned archways that make you feel as if you’ve stepped straight into an Arabian world.
🕌 Inside, the space is bright and spacious, featuring a large, distinctive Arabian chandelier. Even the floor is decorated with intricate patterns, adding to the overall Arabian feel. Some seats also come with soft cushions, making them very comfortable.
🍧Food Experience
We tried the classic set meal for two. The portions were truly huge 👍, almost impossible for two people to finish. We even had to pack some of the food to take home!
🏆 Arabian Milk Tea
Some reviews mentioned that the milk tea was overly sweet, but the restaurant has improved this by allowing customers to add sugar themselves!
The unsweetened milk tea is wonderfully fragrant 🍵, with a flavor that slightly reminds me of butter tea. It was so addictive.
🏆 Arabian Flatbread 🥖
It looks puffed and full, yet the texture is pleasantly chewy and delicious. It’s also very easy to tear apart, and the texture is really nice. At first, I was worried that it might be one of those dry and hard flatbreads, but it turned out to be quite soft and enjoyable. You can fill it with vegetables, dips, and meat according to your preference. 🌮
I especially recommend the walnut chili sauce. It suits Guangdong tastes quite well — sweet, spicy, aromatic, and rich, with black sesame mixed in.
🏆 Sharmawa Sandwich
🌯 A must-order signature item! The wrap is filled with shredded cabbage, salad dressing, and meat. It’s juicy, savory, and slightly sweet, and every bite is really satisfying.
I actually packed one home, and unexpectedly, it was still delicious after I steamed it and reheated it the next day.
🏆 Lentil Soup
It looks simple and has a bean‑paste texture, but once you squeeze in lemon juice, the flavor becomes unexpectedly refreshing and rich. 👍
🏆 Butter Mixed Vegetables 🧈
🥗 Not sure if it’s grilled, but the buttery aroma is intense. It tastes healthy, and the seasoning is just right.
✔ Grilled Meat Platter 🍖
🥩 The grilled chicken wings are especially fragrant, gone in one bite.The platter includes chicken, beef, lamb, grilled potatoes, and onions 🧅. The meat is slightly dry, but pairing it with the Arabian flatbread makes it delicious. I think it would be even better if the meat were a little more tender and juicy.
✔ Mint Drink 🥤
The set meal also came with a mint drink. It was a little too sour for my taste, although perhaps the idea is that you can add sugar yourself to adjust the sweetness.
🛎️Service
The service was excellent. The staff were attentive to our needs, and there was even a hand-drawn booklet on the table showing how to enjoy each dish.
📚Overall Experience
I can still tell that the restaurant has made some adjustments to suit local Guangdong tastes, but overall, I found the food quite good, and the portions are definitely generous. 👍
For foreigners and expats, especially those from the Middle East or other regions familiar with these flavors, it can also be a nice place to get a taste of home if you’re missing the food from back home while living in Shenzhen. When we visited, we even saw some Indian and Middle Eastern guests dining here, which added to the international atmosphere.
Another nice thing is that after your meal, you can simply walk around Sea World and enjoy the surrounding views, including the iconic Minghua ship.
