Today, I revisited this dessert shop for the second time, and it was just as good as I remembered. It isn’t particularly outstanding compared with some of the more famous dessert shops in Shenzhen, but the desserts are consistently good, and I still think it’s worth a try.

The toppings are generous and plentiful, including watermelon 🍉, mango, coconut crisps, grass jelly, and dried red dates.
Every spoonful has something different to enjoy. Once all the ingredients are mixed together, the flavors complement each other nicely, while the combination of crunchy, chewy, soft, and refreshing textures makes the dessert so satisfying.
🏆 Black Sesame Soup with Glutinous Rice Balls
f you prefer something warm, they also offer hot desserts that are especially comforting in cooler weather. Black sesame soup (芝麻糊) is a traditional Chinese dessert that has been enjoyed for generations. I’m not sure how common this type of dessert is outside China, so if you’re curious to try a traditional Chinese sweet, this could be a good one to start with.
This black sesame soup isn’t overly sweet and even has a slightly bitter taste, which I actually enjoyed. Traditionally, black sesame soup is usually made sweeter, so this version was a little different from what I might normally expect. It has a natural, mellow sesame aroma and a smooth, silky texture. If you prefer desserts that aren’t loaded with sugar, this is a good option to consider.
📚Overall Experience
I think this is a dessert shop worth returning to. The desserts are consistently good, and the spacious, comfortable environment makes it a pleasant place to sit and relax.
Since the shop is located inside a shopping mall, it’s also a convenient place to take a break after exploring Huaqiangbei. It may not be the most memorable dessert shop in Shenzhen, but if you happen to be in the area, I think it’s definitely worth trying.
